Alan Nixon Reveals 42 Year Old Is Being Considered As Van Bronckhorst’s Replacement At Rangers

Ex-Rangers coach Michael Beale is on the list of names being considered to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst, according to The Sun journalist Alan Nixon.

Writing on his Patreon, the reporter claimed that Steven Gerrard’s former right-hand man is someone that the Light Blues would likely target if van Bronckhorst is sacked.

Beale is currently in charge of Queens Park Rangers, after replacing another ex-Ger Mark Warburton at Loftus Road in the summer. The 42-year-old has had a pretty decent start to life in management, with his team fourth in the Championship after 14 matches.

Although QPR did lose against Luton Town on Saturday, it was their first defeat since the beginning of September, with his side playing a very attractive brand of football.

Van Bronckhorst is under heavy pressure after the 7-1 defeat to Liverpool last week, and his job will come under even further scrutiny if the Light Blues don’t win against Dundee in the League Cup on Wednesday evening.
