Wilson Makes Frank Admission About Rangers Star’s Future As West Ham And Leicester Circle

Rangers’ Director of Football Ross Wilson has said that the major uncertainty surrounding the transfer market means he cannot guarantee whether Alfredo Morelos will stay or leave Ibrox.

The Colombian international has been linked with West Ham and Leicester in recent days, and when asked whether there is a greater chance of the striker remaining at the club, in light of the current global situation, Wilson replied:

“When you don’t know what anything’s going to look like, everything is on the table. It could well be the case that that is the situation with Alfredo.”

“Until this market opens and starts to move, whether you are Rangers or Borussia Moenchengladbach or Crystal Palace, nobody is going to know what the landscape is.”

Wilson is correct to point out that the uncertainty means he cannot make any definitive statements about Morelos’s future.

However, the Scottish Sun claim the Light Blues will look to sell the 23-year-old when the transfer window reopens. The forward is the club’s most valuable asset and it seems like bids will be made for the forward.

With that being said, though, the type of transfer fee that the Gers will be able to command for Morelos, remains a mystery, with the market likely to be very different compared to previous ones.
