“Will Have To Be Sold…” Christopher Jack Reveals Out Of Form Rangers Midfielder Is Set For Ibrox Exit

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara “will have to be sold” for the Scottish club to balance the books, according to The Herald‘s Christopher Jack.

The journalist believes the fact that the likes of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos could leave on free transfers next summer means there will be very few saleable assets left in the squad. Combined with Kamara’s contract situation, Jack says he expects the Finnish international to be offloaded soon:

“Glen Kamara is now enduring a difficult campaign and will have to be sold sooner rather than later to avoid another Bosman scenario the season after next.”

As Jack mentions, though, Kamara’s form has fallen off a cliff this season and while, in the past, he has been linked with the likes of Brighton, West Ham and even former club Arsenal, it’s unlikely that he’ll have many suitors in the Premier League.

There was also once talk about the Gers receiving upwards of £10m if they sold Kamara, but they’d be lucky to get even a third of that now. We shall see what the future holds for the midfielder.
