‘What A Cross’ ‘Outstanding Again’ ‘Class’ Rangers Fans On Twitter Excited By New Signing’s Preseason Form

Rangers winger Jordan Jones once again impressed during the Scottish club’s 1-1 friendly draw against Blackburn Rovers yesterday.

The Northern Irish international provided the cross for Jermain Defoe to score the opening goal at Ibrox.

Fans on Twitter have been very impressed by Jones during pre-season, and will be hoping he continues his form for the Europa League qualifier against Progres Niederkorn on Thursday:

The free transfer signing from Kilmarnock is looking like a bargain at the moment. As well as impressing in friendlies, he also performed well against St Joseph’s in the previous qualifying round of the Europa League.

Jones was rested for the second leg at Ibrox last week but after his latest performance, he has put himself firmly in the frame to start the home leg against Progres.

Rangers suffered the ignominy of being knocked out by the Luxembourg outfit two years ago and manager Steven Gerrard will want to ensure no upset is on the cards this time around.
