20 Goal Striker Admits “He Is Happy To Be Linked” To Clubs Like Rangers and Celtic

Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski says he is “happy” that clubs like Rangers are interested in signing him.

The North Macedonian international scored his 20th goal of the season against the Light Blues on Tuesday evening and, speaking about a potential move away from Pittdorie, he said:

“I am happy to be linked with clubs like Celtic, Rangers and Southampton because that means I’m making progress. I still have two years left on my contract in Aberdeen, I am focused on the club and on winning a place in Europe like last year.”

“What the future will bring?… I don’t know. Now I am focused only on my club and that is my goal, to be as good as possible.”

Miovski has been a consistent performer since arriving in Scottish football

The 24-year-old’s goals this season are no flash in the pan. After moving from MTK Budapest, the forward has gone on to hit the back of the net 38 times in 77 appearances.

Miovski is averaging a goal every other game for the Dons, which is a very impressive record for a player who arrived in Scotland as a complete unknown.

The Gers will have to seriously contemplate a move for Miovski

Fabio Silva has shown glimpses of what he can do already since joining on loan from Wolves, but Philippe Clement‘s side won’t be able to sign him on a permanent basis due to how much he would cost.

Cyriel Dessers has admittedly improved since the start of the campaign but it is plain for all to see that the club lack a prolific striker who can regularly score 20+ goals a season.

Miovski has shown he can reach that milestone in Scottish football and, with better players around him too, he does have the potential to score even more.
