Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos doesn’t take to Twitter too often with the player usually retweeting videos of his goals or stats about his career.
Yesterday, though, the 23-year-old opted to send out a message to supporters, with a very simple three-word tweet:
MON THE GERS
— Alfredo Morelos (@morelos2106) October 28, 2019
Of course, fans on Twitter responded in their thousands, echoing Morelos’s sentiments and making it clear the feeling is mutual:
The greatest tweet ever written.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has said that Morelos is slowly coming out of his shell on a personal level around the training ground. Despite his aggressive demeanour on the pitch, off the pitch, he is quite reserved, but the Gers boss thinks Daniel Candeias’s departure has helped him integrate better into the squad.
The Colombian certainly appears to be happy with life at Ibrox. Although he didn’t start against Motherwell at the weekend, he has been in scintillating form, having already racked up 15 goals in 21 appearances for the club this season.
