The Dates Have Been Revealed For The First Three Old Firm Games Next Season

Rangers’ first Old Firm derby next season will be played at Celtic Park on October 17th or 18th, the SPFL have confirmed.

It remains to be seen whether the game will be played behind closed doors but it will be the best part of three months into the new campaign before the two Glasgow rivals face other.

The Gers will then get to face Celtic at Ibrox in the New Year, with January 2nd or 3rd being pencilled in for the second derby of the season.

The final fixture before the split between the two teams will then be played at Parkhead on March 20th/21st.

With the Glasgow giants expected to finish in the top half, the final league match will then be hosted at Ibrox after April 3rd.

Gers supporters will be keenly awaiting the new season with Scottish football having been in hibernation since March, and they will get the campaign underway against fierce rivals Aberdeen at Pittodrie on August 1st.
