TalkSPORT Presenter Reveals What He’s Heard About Rangers Target’s Potential Shock Return To Arsenal

TalkSPORT presenter Adrian Durham claims that Jack Wilshere could be in line for a shock move back to Arsenal after being released by West Ham on a free transfer.

Reports in recent days have suggested that Rangers are the favourites to snap up the former England international but Durham says a return to the Emirates may well make a lot of sense:

“I’ve heard a rumour that Jack Wilshere was going to go back to Arsenal. I know people might scoff at it, but actually, I think there’s a lot of sense there. He won’t be playing every week, but with a Europa League campaign, I think he’ll be well managed by Arteta. I think it’ll be a sentimental thing but I think it’ll be a positive thing for Jack Wilshere to go back to Arsenal and contribute.”

To be honest, we’re not sure where Durham has heard this rumour as it has certainly not be written about in any respected newspaper or even shared on social media.

Where Wilshere will actually end up is anyone’s guess but the player himself still feels he can contribute at the highest level so it doesn’t seem like he’ll be moving to the United States or Australia anytime soon.

Much may depend on whether the 28-year-old is prepared to compromise on his wages. He was reportedly earning £100,000 a week at West Ham before the Hammers terminated his contract.
