Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to question Rangers winger Sheyi Ojo’s comments that the Gers are the best team in Scotland.
The winger joined the club on loan from Liverpool earlier this summer, and when asked about his motivations for moving to Ibrox, he replied:
“I think Rangers are the best team in the league. It’s just about proving that we’re the best team and doing really well this season.”
Those remarks did not go down too well with Sutton who had this response on Twitter this morning:
Yes of course and they’ve proved it over the last 8 years… https://t.co/rqTffHjXW6

Ojo’s comments have certainly riled one ex-Hoops star, but he will be wanting to do all of his talking on the pitch over the next few weeks.
Rangers face Derby today in a friendly before playing Progres Niederkorn in the second leg of their Europa League qualifier on Thursday evening.
The league season than kicks off with the Light Blues travelling to Kilmarnock. Killie have already started the campaign very poorly under new head coach Angelo Alessio after being knocked out of the Europa League by Welsh part-timers Connah’s Quay.
