Spezia are one of a number of teams interested in taking Rangers defender Nikola Katic on loan, according to CroatianFootballNews.
The centre-back is recovering from a serious knee injury, which has kept him out for the best part of a year, and it appears a move to Italy could be on the cards:

One important thing to note here is that Spezia are currently under a transfer ban that lasts for two years, but they are expected to appeal the decision so they may still be able to loan Katic if the suspension is temporarily lifted.
For Katic, a loan move away from Ibrox could be just what the doctor ordered. Manager Steven Gerrard currently has SIX center-backs in his first-team squad so the Croatian will find it hard to get a look in once he is 100% fit.
If he can get game time in Serie A for the next six to twelve months and return a stronger player, it would be a win-win situation for both parties.
