REPORT: Tottenham Join Three Other EPL Clubs In Pursuit Of Rangers Teenage Prodigy

Tottenham have joined a host of English clubs in pursuing Rangers defender Leon King, according to the Football Insider. The website claims that Spurs have entered the race for the 15-year-old, alongside the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.

The centre-back has yet to sign a professional deal with the Light Blues and can speak to other clubs regarding a move away from Ibrox.

King is already a Scotland Under 17 international despite his young age, and he was first selected for Graeme Murty’s development squad at the age of 14.

The Gers will be desperate to ensure that the prodigious young talent doesn’t slip through their fingers, but it remains to be seen whether they can convince the teenager to stay with all the interest coming from down South.

The club did manage to get Josh McPake to sign a new contract despite rumours that Liverpool, Roma and Borussia Monchengladbach were looking to sign him, so they’ll be looking to do the same with King.
