REPORT: Rangers Turn Down £11m Bid For 23 Year Old As EPL Clubs Circle

Rangers have turned down a €13m (£11m) offer for Alfredo Morelos, according to El Universal. The Colombian news outlet does not name the club that made the bid but reports that the proposal fell way short of the Scottish club’s asking price.

They do say, though, that the biggest interest in the 23-year-old is coming from the English Premier League. Crystal Palace and Aston Villa have been mentioned as possible destinations in the past but it isn’t known at this stage which club has made a formal offer.

Morelos has been in sensational form for the Light Blues this season, having scored 28 goals in 34 appearances, and manager Steven Gerrard has previously insisted that the Colombian international won’t be allowed to leave during the January transfer window.

The Gers are in the middle of a title race, and losing their top goalscorer midway through the campaign would put a massive dent in their chances of winning title number 55.
