REPORT: Rangers Told To Pay £1m To Seal Deal For 25 Year Old Forward

Rangers will need to pay at least £1m to seal the signing of Hibernian forward Florian Kamberi on a permanent basis, according to the Football Insider.

The website claims that the 25-year-old has impressed enough during his loan spell with the Gers for the Scottish club to enquire about how much it would cost to keep him.

Kamberi moved to Ibrox for an initial six months during the January transfer window, but the Light Blues were unable to agree a purchase option with Hibs for the player at the time.

The Albanian’s one goal and one assist in eight appearances for Rangers is nothing to write home about but he has performed consistently well when picked from the start or coming off the bench.

It led to claims last week that Kamberi would have replaced Alfredo Morelos in the starting line up for last weekend’s Old Firm derby if it had gone ahead.
