REPORT: Rangers Pair Set To The Leave The Club In The Summer

Rangers pair Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent could leave the club to join Fenerbahce in the summer, according to Turkish outlet FotoMac.

Additionally, as both players’ contracts are set to expire in the summer, they will both leave the club on a free transfer – unless they agree to a new deal, which would keep them at the Ibrox Stadium.

The future of both players, especially Morelos, has been under keen speculation in recent months. The 26-year-old has been linked with several moves away from Rangers – it has looked increasingly unlikely that he will remain with the Light Blues since the dawn of the current season.

Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos Rangers careers

Ryan Kent began his career at Liverpool as a youngster. However, he failed to make a senior appearance for the Reds – instead, he was sent out on loan to clubs such as Coventry City, Bristol City and Barnsley during his stay in Merseyside.

From there, Kent joined Rangers in 2019 after a successful loan spell. Since then, he has scored 22 goals in 113 appearances for the Gers.

Morelos, meanwhile, joined the club two years earlier – upon his arrival, he quickly became one of Rangers’ top players. Lauded for his physicality and determination, he quickly won the hearts of Light Blues fans.

The Columbian has scored plenty of goals for Rangers – he has found the back of the net on 78 occasions, across the span of 177 appearances.
