Report Details Glen Kamara’s Stance On Summer Departure As Four EPL Clubs Circle Rangers Star

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara is “happy” at the Scottish champions but it won’t stop clubs making bids for him in the summer, according to the Daily Mail‘s Simon Jones.

The journalist claims that at least four English Premier League clubs are weighing up approaches for the Finnish international, including Brighton, Burnley, Leeds United and Southampton. Watford may also get involved if they secure promotion from the Championship.

It is believed that Kamara’s performances at this summer’s European Championships for Finland will also be closely scrutinised and interest in the former Arsenal player could increase further still.

With the 25-year-old said to be content to stay at Ibrox, though, manager Steven Gerrard will be confident of tying down the midfielder to a long-term deal. The Gers are currently in negotiations with the player and it will be hoped that, if he does put pen to paper on a new contract in the coming weeks, it will end speculation about his future.
