Tottenham are targeting a move for Rangers left-back Borna Barisic, according to 90min.com. The website claims the English Premier League side see the Croatian as the ideal replacement for Danny Rose.
The fullback’s agent has spoken out about the player’s future in recent days, stating that the Bears may not be able to keep him in the summer, despite the 27-year-old only signing a new contract back in January.
However, Rangers will not allow Barisic to leave without a fight, and it is believed that the Light Blues have slapped a £22m price tag on the defender.
Whether that will put off Spurs from making a bid, it remains to be seen. The Croatian international was linked with a move to Napoli during the January transfer window, while Roma are also said to be keen on left-back, so there could be a fierce battle for the player’s signature at the end of the season.
