REPORT: Arsenal ‘Weighing Up Move’ For Rangers Midfield General

Arsenal are “weighing up move” for Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara, according to GiveMeSport‘s Jonnie Gorrie.

The Gunners are thought to be looking to the Scottish league for signings as they work on a limited budget this summer and they may take advantage of Kamara’s contract situation.

Currently, the Finnish international has just over two years remaining on his current deal at Ibrox, although the player has recently confirmed that he has entered talks with the Gers about an extension.

Kamara actually started out life in Arsenal’s academy before moving to Dundee on a free transfer in 2017. It is believed they have followed the 25-year-old’s progress since then.

GiveMeSport claim that the Gunners are just one of a number of clubs who are watching the midfielder. Previous reports have linked the likes of Brighton, West Ham, Leeds United and Sheffield United with Kamara.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has been calling for the player to be given a new deal since the back end of last year so, hopefully, the Scottish club can agree an extension and end speculation about his future.
