Reliable Journalist Confirms That 10M Rated Rangers Star IS Interested In EPL Switch

Rangers right-back Nathan Patterson is open to leaving Ibrox and would be interested in making the switch to Everton, according to the Times journalist Paul Joyce.

The reporter, who is usually extremely reliable, claims that Patterson is not happy with playing second fiddle to Gers captain James Tavernier and would, therefore, be “keen” on a transfer down south.

Everton had two bids rejected for Patterson last summer, but a third offer is thought to be imminent, with multiple sources in England saying the Toffees are lining up an approach as soon as the January transfer window opens.

Joyce believes that Rangers will hold out for “closer to £10m” but, with a £9m bid having been rejected a few months ago, you would think the Light Blues will demand a lot more than that.

If Patterson is angling for a move away from the Scottish champions, it will be a significant blow, considering the fullback’s massive potential. Other teams, including Manchester United, have been linked with the fullback but it seems Everton are red hot favourites to secure his signature.
