Swansea City forward Morgan Whittaker asked to be left out of the squad for the Championship club’s 1-1 draw against QPR at the weekend, according to reports.
The 22-year-old has been the subject of two bids from Rangers during the January transfer window and it is believed that the player is not in the right frame of mind to play.
Fans on Twitter think Whittaker is putting pressure on his club to accept an offer from Michael Beale’s side and they are hopeful that an agreement over a transfer can be reached:

It is believed that the Gers’ first offer was in the region of £900k, while their follow-up proposal was said to be worth around £1.5m. Swansea are, though, reportedly standing firm on their £2m asking price.
A third bid for Whittaker is likely to be tabled soon so we shall have to wait and see whether the Bears do meet the winger’s valuation.
