Rangers Target January Swoop For Midfielder With EPL Club Prepared To ‘Listen To Offers’

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is targeting a move for another Liverpool player in the January transfer window, according to the Football Insider. The website claims they will revive their move for Herbie Kane.

The Gers were initially interested in the 21-year-old last summer before shelving their plans, but the midfielder will be available next month with the Reds reportedly willing to “listen to offers.”

Kane signed a new contract last December before being loaned out to Doncaster Rovers. It is not known how long his current deal lasts for but if it does expire in the summer, Liverpool will be looking to sell up in January.

The playmaker did perform well at Doncaster in the English third tier last season, scoring seven goals and providing ten assists in 49 appearances.

However, this campaign, Kane has been restricted to two senior appearances in the Carabao Cup, playing the full 90 minutes in the 5-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Tuesday night.
