Rangers Star Set To Turn His Back On Two Serie A Giants As He Bids To Stop Celtic Winning 10 In A Row

Rangers left-back Borna Barisic is not interested in moving clubs this summer as he is fully focused on stopping rivals Celtic from winning ten league titles in a row, according to the Daily Record.

The Croatian international has been linked with Roma and AC Milan in recent months, while newly-promoted English Premier League side Leeds have also been credited with an interest.

However, Barisic only signed a new contract at the end of January, and he is currently fully committed to Steven Gerrard’s side as they look to secure their first Scottish Premiership title in ten years. Despite having had a difficult start to his Light Blues career, the 27-year-old has established himself as a key first-team player over the past year.

Calvin Bassey was brought in from Leicester in the summer to provide some competition for Barisic, following the departures of Jon Flanagan and Andy Halliday, but the Croatian will be difficult to dislodge considering his excellent form.
