Rangers Star Has Made A Decision On His Future As Agent Confirms Interest From Serie A

Rangers left-back Borna Barisic is happy to stay at the club despite interest from Roma, according to reports in the Scottish media. The Croatian’s agent Ives Charakun has, though, confirmed that the Serie A side are keen on signing him:

“At this point, it is Roma who have interest in him. There’s nothing more I can say at this point.”

It appears Barisic is willing to stay put for the second half of the season as the Gers look to win the Premiership title.

The 27-year-old has been in superb form this campaign, having scored two goals and provided 13 assists in 27 appearances. He played a crucial role in both goals against Celtic in the Old Firm derby at the weekend.

Things haven’t always gone so smoothly for Barisic since the fullback’s arrival at Ibrox last summer. He struggled for form and fitness during his first season at the club and only really established himself as an undisputed starter back in September.

It seems as though he is now keen to capitalise on his excellent form by staying at Rangers rather than moving to Italy.
