Rangers Star Being Watched ‘Very Closely’ By Arsenal With It Being Claimed He Could Be A January Target

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara has been scouted “very closely” by Arsenal for the last eighteen months, according to 90min.com.

The Finnish international is said to be on the list of midfielders that the English club are considering signing during the January transfer window.

Kamara came through the Gunners’ academy and it appears that they have been monitoring their former player’s progress for quite some time.

Aston Villa are also in the mix, with former Gers boss Steven Gerrard a keen admirer of the 26-year-old but, at this stage, neither Premier League club have firmed up their interest.

Arsenal are reportedly pressing to sign Juventus midfielder Arthur on loan, and if the Brazilian does make the switch to the Emirates this month, it would greatly reduce the chances of the Gunners pursuing a deal for Kamara.

With the Finn having signed a new deal back in September, you would think that any offers would have to be quite substantial for the Bears to even consider selling up.
