Rangers’ Stance On Glen Kamara’s January Sale Revealed As 4 EPL Clubs Circle

Rangers would prefer to keep midfielder Glen Kamara until the summer, according to reports in the Scottish media.

Aston Villa, Everton, Newcastle and Southampton are all interested in signing the Finnish international this month. Even so, the Light Blues may try to keep hold of the player.

Kamara only signed a new contract back in September but he could be tempted by the prospect of reuniting with Steven Gerrard at Villa Park.

The formers Gers boss is reportedly weighing up a move for Kamara before the transfer window closes. However, the Light Blues are hoping he waits until the summer.

Rangers don’t need the cash from Kamara’s sale, at this stage, having already received an initial £12m from Everton for Nathan Patterson.

It must be pointed out too that Gerrard is considering making moves for other Gers players, including Borna Barisic and Joe Aribo, but Kamara appears to be the main target currently.
