Rangers will hold out for at least £6m if they decide to sell centre-back Filip Helander this summer, according to reports in the UK.
The 27-year-old is believed to be interesting both Leicester City and Aston Villa and the Light Blues are not necessarily against offloading the defender at the end of the season
It is believed that at least one high profile player will need to be sold by the Scottish champions in order to balance the books, and it seems Helander could be a candidate.
The Swedish international cost £3.5m when they signed him from Bologna almost two years ago and the Gers would be willing to sell him on at a sizeable profit in order to finance their own transfer dealings.
An asking price, which is nearly double what he was signed for, is thought to be justified, considering his performances both at club and international level. The centre-half has not lost a league game when he has been on the pitch for Rangers, while he has begun to play regularly for his country.
