Rangers Set To Revive Move For £3M Rated Championship Ace This Summer

Rangers are expected to reignite their interest in Swansea City winger Morgan Whittaker at the end of the season, according to reports.

The Gers are believed to have had three bids rejected for the 22-year-old during the January transfer window, with Swansea said to be holding out for their £3m valuation.

Whittaker was reportedly interested in making the move to Scotland, with suggestions that he had already agreed personal terms with the Light Blues.

It is believed that Michael Beale’s side have kept in contact with the player’s agent, which may indicate that negotiations could be revived in the summer.

After a successful loan spell at Plymouth Argyle in the first half of the season, Whittaker returned to Swansea in January, but he has yet to break his way into Russell Martin’s starting eleven, having made just three substitute appearances so far. If he remains a bit-part player, he will undoubtedly push for a transfer away from the Liberty Stadium.
