Rangers Set To Offer Three Year Contract To £3.6m Rated Midfield General

Rangers have been given permission to discuss personal terms with Amiens midfielder Bonjani Zungu, according to reports in the Scottish media.

The Light Blues have been heavily linked with a move for the 27-year-old in recent weeks, and it appears negotiations have progressed to a stage where wages can be discussed.

It is not thought that Zungu’s salary will be a problem, and there are claims he could sign a deal up until 2023, but there remains a lot of uncertainty over whether the Gers have actually come to an agreement over a transfer fee.

The Ligue Two side were demanding €4m (£3.6m) for the South African international but it remains to be seen whether their relegation from the top flight has seen them lower their asking price.

If Alfredo Morelos is sold to Lille then it is likely that the Colombian’s sale could well fund Zungu’s transfer. At the moment, though, that is purely speculation.
