Rangers Set To Field Prolific Teenager In United Clash As They Bid To See Off EPL Rivals In Transfer Battle

Rangers will field Portobello CFA Thistle striker Filip Skorb as a trialist in a tournament game against Manchester United this weekend, according to reports.

The youngster is also being pursued by both Leeds and Newcastle, with the forward having already visited the training ground of the Whites.

Skorb is also expected to have a trial with the Magpies soon after his time at Rangers comes to an end.

The teenager has yet to sign on to professional terms with any team, which means there is nothing stopping him from choosing the Light Blues if he wants to remain in Scotland.

After being very prolific at youth level, it would be a big coup if the Gers do secure Skorb’s signature. As he will soon be joining Newcastle for a spell as well, he is clearly taking his time about his decision, but it is understandable, considering the consequences for his future.
