Rangers Set To End 22 Year Old’s Loan Spell As Squad Shake Up Begins

Rangers have opted against keeping Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo on a permanent basis, according to reports in England.

The 22-year-old’s loan spell at Ibrox started off promising enough, but he has fallen out of favour under manager Steven Gerrard in recent months and has only started once in the league since October.

With the Scottish Premiership season set be ended at a meeting on Monday, Rangers will be looking to make decisions on the futures of some players.

The likes of Ojo, Jon Flanagan, Wes Foderingham and Andy Halliday may all depart, while the Light Blues will also need to decide soon on whether they want to keep Ianis Hagi.

Striker Florian Kamberi is also a player who will be returning to Hibernian after his loan spell ends, with the Gers having failed to include a purchase clause in their agreement when the Albanian moved to the club in January.
