Rangers Scouts See £13.5m Bosnian Midfield Maestro Star In Cup Final Win

Rangers had scouts in the stands for Dinamo Zagreb’s Super Cup Final win over NFK Rijeka on Saturday, according to reports.

Valencia and Schalke also had representatives in attendance, and although it isn’t known who the three clubs were scouting, the Bosnian website Sportsport.ba believe the Gers could have been watching Amer Gojak.

The 22-year-old scored the only goal of the match in Zagreb and played a key role in the heart of the Croatian champions’ midfield.

Whether Rangers are considering a bid for Gojak, it does seem highly doubtful, though, with Dinamo said to be value the Bosnian international at around €15m (approximately £13.5m).

It a surprisingly high figure for a player who, despite playing in an attacking midfield role, doesn’t really score or create many goals.

In 43 appearances for Dinamo last campaign, Gojak hit the back of the net just four times, while he provided just four assists.
