Rangers are prepared to make an offer for Anderlecht winger Francis Amuzu, according to reports in the Belgian media.
The 21-year-old scored his first goal of the season against Charleroi at the weekend and Anderlecht are thought to be keen to keep hold of the player.
However, the club’s financial situation means they can’t refuse decent offers for their players and Rangers are said to be lining up a bid for Amuzu which could be too good to turn down.
The Light Blues already have a good relationship with Anderlecht after signing Kemar Roofe for £4m in the summer, and it is believed the Scottish club’s interest in Amuzu goes back just as long.
Since making his senior debut in 2017, the Belgian Under 21 international has gone on to make 84 appearances for Anderlecht. He predominantly plays from the left-wing, cutting in onto his stronger right foot, but he’s also comfortable playing off the right flank.
