Rangers Player Will ‘Consider’ Move As Manchester United Line Up Shock Approach

Rangers goalkeeper Robby McCrorie will “consider a move” to Manchester United to become the English Premier League club’s number two, according to The Scottish Sun.

The 24-year-old is looking to leave Ibrox this summer in order to get more game time but it appears he would be interested in being David De Gea’s understudy.

United are, surprisingly, weighing up a move for McCrorie with an exodus of keepers from Old Trafford expected in the coming weeks. Dean Henderson is likely to join Nottingham Forest on loan while there are also doubts over Tom Heaton and Nathan Bishop’s futures.

Heaton would have been De Gea’s backup next season but he is attracting interest from Middlesbrough while Bishop, like Henderson, is expected to be sent out on a temporary basis.

McCrorie isn’t the only option that United are looking at, though. Reports last week suggested that Watford’s Daniel Bachmann is also under consideration.
