Rangers Pair Star For Scotland In Comeback Win For Under 21s

Rangers duo Glenn Middleton and Ross McCrorie both played their part as Scotland’s Under 21s came from 1-0 down to beat Croatia 2-1 last night.

Middleton, who is currently on a season-long loan at Hibernian, delivered a ball to Aberdeen forward Connor McLennan to score the equaliser just nine minutes from the end.

The Rangers winger had only been on the pitch for a few minutes before providing the crucial assist.

Fellow loanee McCrorie, who is currently playing in England for League One club Portsmouth, then got in on the act by delivering a cross into the box for McLennan to clinch the winning goal with just one minute left of normal time.

Both Rangers players have been performing well for their current clubs whilst out on loan. Middleton has made two assists in three games for Hibs this season, while McCrorie has been playing both as a midfielder and at right-back for Pompey.
