Rangers Offered New Hope In Bid To Secure Deal For £5.4m Rated Danish Ace

Bologna could well be open to offloading Andreas Skov Olsen on loan, according to reports in Italy. Rangers have been linked with a move for the Dane in recent months but, up until now, his club have been reluctant to let him leave on a temporary basis.

It had been claimed that Bologna’s Sporting Director Walter Sabatini would only allow offload the 20-year-old if they received an offer they could not turn down.

Olsen signed from FC Nordsjaelland for €6m (£5.4m) last summer but struggled during his first season in Italy, and it was thought that Bologna were looking to sell him and cut their losses. However, it is now believed that the Serie A club see a future for the Danish Under 21 international, but they would still like to see him go out on loan in order to prove himself.

Rangers won’t be alone in the battle to secure Olsen’s signature, though, with Real Sociedad and FC Copenhagen also said to be keen on the player.
