Rangers Named As One Of Four Clubs Who Are ‘Interested’ In Signing Dutch Speed Merchant

Rangers are “interested” in signing Feyenoord winger Crysencio Summerville, according to Voetbal International.

The Dutch publication says that the Light Blues, along with Wolves, Red Bull Salzburg and Anderlecht are all looking to snap up the 18-year-old, who has less than one year left on his contract at the Eredivisie side.

Summerville is known for his blistering pace and is usually deployed from the right-wing. Feyenoord head coach, and former Gers boss, Dick Advocaat is very keen to keep the teenager but the player’s contract situation may mean they could be forced into selling him.

Voetbal International claim Feyenoord have already rejected a formal offer from Wolves worth “millions” but it remains to be seen whether they will eventually decide to cash in on the winger.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard would certainly be looking to recruit a right-winger this summer, and Summerville would tick many boxes. Last season, he scored two goals and provided three assists in 21 league games on loan at ADO Den Haag.
