Rangers Named As One Of 3 Clubs ‘Closely’ Monitoring Algerian Ace With 6 Goals And 10 Assists This Season

Rangers are “closely” watching Nimes winger Zinedine Ferhat, according to Footmercato.net. The French website claims that the Light Blues are one of at least three teams who have been keeping tabs on the Algerian international.

In addition to the Gers, the 28-year-old is also being scouted by Ligue One side Saint-Etienne and Italian club Sassuolo, while there could also be another unnamed French team who are keen on snapping up the player.

Ferhat has been in very good form this campaign, having scored six goals and laid on 10 assists in 32 appearances for Nimes, and his performances have clearly not gone unnoticed.

Rangers don’t really have an out-and-out right winger in their squad, with manager Steven Gerrard having utilised the likes of Ianis Hagi, Kemar Roofe and Joe Aribo in that position this season.

It seems, therefore, Ferhat is being eyed as a potential solution for an area of the pitch that could do with some strengthening.
