Rangers Midfielder Nearing Exit As English Championship Club Make Their Move

Rangers midfielder Jason Holt is on the verge of moving to Queens Park Rangers, according to reports in Scotland.

The 26-year-old was not in the travelling party for the pre-season training camp in Portugal, and he is expected to leave for the English Championship.

Former Gers boss Mark Warburton is now in charge at Loftus Road, and he has targeted Holt after previously working with the player at Ibrox.

The central midfielder spent last season out on loan at Fleetwood Town, playing in the third tier South of the border.

Holt was a regular starter for the Fisherman, playing 36 games in all competitions and scoring two goals.

He originally joined Rangers from Hearts in July 2015, and he went on to make 115 appearances during his first three campaigns at the club.

Holt made a very good impression in his first season, scoring ten goals in the Championship, but he struggled more after the club’s return to the Premiership.
