Rangers Injury News Ahead Of St. Johnstone: Star Set To Return After Long Absence While 7 Others Remain Sidelined

In this week’s Rangers injury news, we’ll be looking at the players who could make their Gers return in the game against St. Johnstone on Saturday.

It’s not all good news for Rangers fans, unfortunately. Talismanic hitman Kemar Roofe has recently suffered a setback and will be out ‘for at least a month’ with a shoulder injury. As such, it’s very likely that he will miss Rangers’ Scottish League Cup final game against Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic on February 26th.

Supporters will be overjoyed to hear that Ianis Hagi, who has been out of action for over a year, could finally return to first team football against St. Johnstone. While it’s unlikely that he will start, he could make an appearance from the bench.

Filip Helander, Tom Lawrence, John Souttar and Ridvan Yilmaz are all expected to miss out with their own respective long-term injuries. Additionally, Steven Davis will be out for the remainder of the season, while Nnamdi Ofoborh is still unavailable for selection due to a heart condition.

It should also be noted that Alfredo Morelos, John Lundstram and Connor Goldson are all one yellow card away from a suspension. Due to this, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see at least one of them left out of Michael Beale’s starting eleven this weekend.
