Rangers Have Sent Letter To SPFL Which Outlines 4 Major Concerns About Handing Over Evidence

Rangers have outlined four grievances that they want to resolve before handing over evidence to the SPFL regarding the voting scandal that has engulfed Scottish football.

The Light Blues are calling for an independent inquiry into how the resolution that has effectively ended the season was carried out. In a letter which has been seen by some in the Scottish media, chairman Douglas Park said evidence would only be given to the SPFL if the following matters are resolved:

1) SPFL Chairman Malcolm MacLennan must explain the derogatory comments he made about Rangers in 2017.

2) MacLennan must also be held account for shutting down the club’s concerns about the voting process.

3) An official copy of the SPFL Whistleblower Policy should be handed to Rangers.

4) MacLennan, chief executive Neil Doncaster and legal advisor Rod McKenzie cannot have access to the evidence.

Park is certainly not holding back in his demands, and it will be interesting to see what the SPFL’s response will be.
