Rangers Have Identified Ryan Kent’s Replacement With ‘Talks’ Underway

Rangers are “in talks’ with Aris Thessaloniki about signing winger Luis Palma, according to The Scottish Sun.

It was reported last month that the Light Blues have been scouting the Honduran international and it appears they have stepped up their attempts to secure his signature.

Aris Thessaloniki are not expected to stand in Palma’s way if he wants to leave the Greek club and it is believed they will accept an offer in the region of €5m (£4.4m) for the player.

There will be competition for the 23-year-old’s services. The Sun say a number of European clubs are targeting the forward. When the Gers’ interest was first made public in the Greek media, Belgian side Anderlecht and Ukrainian club Dynamo Kyiv were both linked so both those teams are likely to be involved.

Palma generally plays off the left wing, and it seems certain that manager Michael Beale wants him to replace Ryan Kent, with the former Liverpool star set to leave Ibrox on a free transfer.
