Rangers Have Been Scouting 14 Goal Dutch Marksman In ‘Recent Weeks’ But 3 Other Clubs Are Also Interested

Rangers have sent scouts to watch Swansea City forward Joel Piroe in the “recent weeks”, according to Football League World.

The website claims that the Gers are weighing up a move for the Dutchman ahead of the summer transfer window.

Piroe has been in great form this season, having scored 14 goals in all competitions for the Swans, and it appears Michael Beale’s side are targeting him as they look to strengthen their frontline.

Kemar Roofe’s injury problems mean he cannot be relied upon, while Alfredo Morelos’s contract expires at the end of May.

Piroe is seemingly on the Gers’ shortlist as they consider potential replacements, although they won’t be the only club pursuing his signature.

Football League World report that Burnley, Middlesbrough and Norwich City arer also interested in the 23-year-old, while Premier League clubs Crystal Palace and Everton have been mentioned as potential suitors for the striker in the past.
