Rangers Handed Major Boost In Battle To Keep Ryan Kent Amid Reports Of Imminent 15M Approach

Rangers are now confident that they will keep Ryan Kent at the club beyond the summer, according to GiveMeSport.

The website claims “figures behind the scenes” at the Light Blues believe that the former Liverpool winger will knock back interest from Leeds United if the English Premier League club make a bid for the 24-year-old.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side are reportedly expected to table a £15m offer for Kent at the end of the season, as they look to finally land a player they have been tracking for over a year.

Concerns over Kent’s future grew earlier this month when he admitted he was flattered by stories linking him with a move away from Ibrox.

However, he also revealed that the prospect of playing in the Champions League was “massive” and, if Rangers do qualify for the group stages next season, there is a strong possibility that he will be keen to stay at the club.
