Rangers Demand At Least 10M For Playmaker As PL Clubs Line Up Potential January Bids

Rangers won’t sell midfielder Joe Aribo for less than £10m, according to reports in the English media.

It is believed that a number of English Premier League clubs, including Crystal Palace, are interested in the Nigerian international ahead of the January transfer window.

Aribo has been a key player for manager Steven Gerrard since arriving on a free transfer from Charlton in the summer of 2019 but he is closing in on the final eighteen months of his contract at Ibrox.

Despite that being the case, the Gers won’t allow the 25-year-old to leave if they don’t receive, at least, an eight-figure sum for the playmaker.

During his time with the Light Blues, Aribo has scored 19 goals and provided 17 assists in 107 appearances. The Nigerian has been everpresent in the Scottish Premiership this season and he has only failed to start one game in all competitions. That was the first leg of the Champions League qualifier against Malmo.
