Rangers Dealt Transfer Setback As They Are Told 25K A Week Premier League Star Is NOT Available On Loan

Rangers will not be able to loan Everton midfielder Tom Davies this month, according to reports in the Scottish media.

The 24-year-old, who earns £25,000 a week at the Toffees, will only be allowed to leave Goodison Park on a permanent basis during the January transfer window.

Davies is being eyed as a potential new addition this month by manager Michael Beale, along with Norwich City winger Todd Cantwell.

However, it is believed the Gers haven’t entered negotiations to sign Davies up until now, and it may be the case that they have been put off by the potential cost of the transfer.

Despite Beale stating that he is keen on bringing in a number of signings before deadline day in a couple of weeks’ time, there has been no incomings so far.

That is likely to change soon but, from the sound of things, recruiting Davies is not going to be at all easy.
