Rangers Dealt Transfer Blow As EPL Midfield General Makes Decision On Ibrox Switch

Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram is not interested in moving to Rangers at the end of the season, according to reports in the English media.

The 26-year-old’s contract at Bramall Lane expires in June and he has turned down offers from the Blades to extend his stay at the club.

Rangers were thought to be in the running for the player’s signature but it seems Lundstram is looking to stay in the Premier League next season.

West Ham, Burnley and Brighton have all been mentioned as possible suitors for the Englishman in the past and it appears those three clubs are now firm favourites to snap him up ahead of the Light Blues.

Lundstram is likely to be just one of a number of options that Gers boss Steven Gerrard is considering. The club have already begun to strengthen the midfield ahead of the summer after Bournemouth’s Nnamdi Ofoborh signed a pre-contract agreement.
