Rangers Dealt Blow As Key Star Picks Up Injury Ahead Of Hearts Clash

Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor is a doubt for tomorrow’s game against Hearts after injuring his leg in training yesterday, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.

The 37-year-old had to be treated after picking up the knock, but it is not clear whether the issue will hinder his chances of being selected for the match at Tynecastle.

McGregor has only missed two of Rangers’ 20 league games this campaign and has been a reliable player between the sticks for the Light Blues, who have the best defensive record in the Scottish Premiership.

In 34 appearances for the Gers this season, the Scottish veteran has conceded just 20 goals and kept an impressive 19 clean sheets in the process.

McGregor remains the club’s undisputed number one, and while Wes Foderingham is an able backup goalkeeper, manager Steven Gerrard and fans will be keeping their finger’s crossed that the shot-stopper is fit and available for the clash against Hearts.
