Rangers Reportedly Interested In Highly-Rated Brazilian Forward – But There’s A Problem

Rangers are reportedly interested in a potential transfer move for fiery Feyenoord forward Danilo, according to a report from Dutch sports media outlet 1908.NL.

However, recent developments, reported by Voetal International, suggest that Rangers’ initial bid for the Brazilian striker has been rejected by the Dutch giants.

It is unclear as to how much Feyenoord will want for Danilo to leave the club – additionally, it is also unknown as to how much money Rangers submitted in their initial bid. As such, negotiations will carry on – but the Gers are not the only interested party, so they cannot afford to hold their horses for too long in this instance.

Last season, in the top flight of Dutch football, Danilo found the back of the net on ten occasions – additionally, he also registered three assists for De Trots van Zuid.

Who else, besides Rangers, are interested in a move for Danilo?

Rangers could face major competition for the signature of Danilo, if they are serious about bringing him to the Ibrox Stadium in the ongoing summer transfer window.

According to Rangers News.uk, Manchester United have registered an interest in the 24-year-old. Nevertheless, the Red Devils have yet to submit a formal offer for the player – however, if they do, Rangers could struggle to match them financially.

United are in the hunt for a striker, but it is difficult to see Danilo being anything other than a rotation option at Old Trafford. Meanwhile, with Rangers, he would likely be a star player – as such, due to this, the Light Blues may be quietly holding all the aces in this particular race.
