Rangers Could Lose Another Teenage Prodigy For Just 350K As United And Arsenal Circle

Rangers are in danger of losing another promising young talent for just £350,000, according to the Daily Star.

Jack Wylie has not signed a professional contract with the Gers but he is being tracked by both Manchester United and Arsenal.

The defender has the choice of either commiting his long-term future to the Scottish club in January or leaving to go down south, with Michael Beale’s side receiving minimal compensation.

Rory Wilson decided against penning a new deal with Rangers last summer, opting for a switch to Aston Villa instead, but it will be hoped that Wylie takes another path.

The fact that Beale has replaced Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the hot seat at Ibrox may, hopefully, strengthen the Light Blues’ chances of keeping the 16-year-old.

The new manager is known for giving young players opportunities, and it is believed that both Alex Lowry and Zak Lovelace will feature more prominently now he is in charge. It remains to be seen, though, whether that will be enough to keep Wylie.
