Rangers Ace Completes Season Long Loan Switch

Rangers winger Glenn Middleton has completed his move to Hibernian. The 19-year-old will spend the season on loan at Easter Road, despite manager Steven Gerrard initially confirming he could be off to NAC Breda.

Middleton had a medical in Edinburgh last week, and he was said to be in the stands when Hibs won their opening game of the season against St Mirren earlier this month.

The teenager was unlikely to get game time at Ibrox. The Gers already have three left-wingers on the club’s books with Brandon Barker having arrived last week.

Gerrard also has Jordan Jones and Jamie Murphy at this disposal, with the latter, also expected to be sent out on loan before the transfer window shuts next month.

Middleton, meanwhile, will be hoping to impress during his spell out on loan before returning to Glasgow next summer to become part of the club’s first-team plans once again.
