‘Phenomenal’ ‘Stand Out Player For Me’ Rangers Fans Single Out 22 Year Old After Strong Old Firm Display

Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin put in a solid performance despite the Light Blues’ defeat in the Old Firm derby on Saturday.

The 22-year-old gave Michael Beale’s side some much-needed energy in the middle of the park, and fans on Twitter were quick to praise the Belgian after the match:

Raskin has plenty of strengths in his game. The midfielder is very positive in possession and he is always looking for a forward pass to get his team moving up the pitch.

He doesn’t shirk a confrontation either, as Celtic captain Callum McGregor can attest to following their altercation. Raskin will put his foot in and break up play when required.

Even though he only joined the Gers from Standard Liege for £1.7m during the January transfer window, he has settled into life at Ibrox very quickly. Considering his age as well, Raskin will only improve as a player over the coming seasons.
